FEAR NOT

... so to teach Thy Cause that the dead may speed out of their sepulchers, and rush forth towards Thee...

Dear Ones,

Expressed by none other than CHRIST RETURNED, here is the red path to spiritual triumph that Baha'i believers of intention and action are urged to traverse with unwavering dedication and bravery. The reason is that...

This is not a Cause which may be made a plaything for your idle fancies, nor is it a field for the foolish and faint of heart. By God, this is the arena of insight and detachment, of vision and upliftment, where none may spur on their chargers save the valiant horsemen of the Merciful, who have severed all attachment to the world of being. These, truly, are they that render God victorious on earth, and are the dawning-places of His sovereign might amidst mankind.

Considering the various responsibilities tied to genuine belief, including the duty to support and safeguard God's Faith from adversaries, one eventually understands the significance of seeking divine assistance and protection. This need extends beyond our physical realm, as our inner selves are already engaged with spiritual dimensions. In this context, a unique prayer has been disclosed to shield the soul in any realm it inhabits. Here it is:

In the Name of God, the Lord of overpowering majesty, the All-Compelling.

Hallowed be the Lord in Whose hand is the source of dominion. He createth whatsoever He willeth by His Word of command “Be,” and it is. His hath been the power of authority heretofore, and it shall remain His hereafter. He maketh victorious whomsoever He pleaseth, through the potency of His behest. He is in truth the Powerful, the Almighty. Unto Him pertaineth all glory and majesty in the kingdoms of Revelation and Creation and whatever lieth between them. Verily, He is the Potent, the All-Glorious. From everlasting He hath been the Source of indomitable strength and shall remain so unto everlasting. He is indeed the Lord of might and power.

All the kingdoms of heaven and earth and whatever is between them are God’s, and His power is supreme over all things. All the treasures of earth and heaven and everything between them are His, and His protection extendeth over all things.

He is the Creator of the heavens and the earth and whatever lieth between them, and He truly is a witness over all things. He is the Lord of Reckoning for all that dwell in the heavens and on earth and whatever lieth between them, and truly God is swift to reckon. He setteth the measure assigned to all who are in the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them. Verily, He is the Supreme Protector.

He holdeth in His grasp the keys of heaven and earth and of everything between them. At His Own pleasure doth He bestow gifts, through the power of His command. Indeed His grace encompasseth all, and He is the All-Knowing.

Say: God sufficeth unto me; He is the One Who holdeth in His grasp the kingdom of all things. Through the power of His hosts of heaven and earth and whatever lieth between them, He protecteth whomsoever among His servants He willeth. God, in truth, keepeth watch over all things.

Immeasurably exalted art Thou, O Lord! Protect us from what lieth in front of us and behind us, above our heads, on our right, on our left, below our feet and every other side to which we are exposed. Verily, Thy protection over all things is unfailing.

- The Bab
There is as well a supreme armor for the spiritual warrior in the recitation of the Pent-Alpha against all forms of attack, psychic or otherwise. In The Dawn-Brakers, a historical text chronicling the courageous origins of the Bahá'í Faith, it is noted that a believer named Hujjat instructed the guards during the Zanjan conflict to recite the Pent-Alpha 19 times each night. This mantra, originating from the Bab, serves as a protective invocation. However, it is important to note that these five variations of the Greatest Name (BAHA) should be recited in the following manner and repeated 19 times:

God the Most Great
God the Most Pure
God the Most Beauteous
God the Great
God the Most Glorious

With respect to demonic possession, violence and threats, the optimal approach is to refrain from any future interactions with such individuals.

In the face of the dreaded DAY of God's judgment, do not let fear take hold; rather, earnestly remember that the "just" will inherit heaven and earth.

In the face of potential disasters, already memorizing this plea will serve as the best safeguard.

On the appearance of fearful natural events call ye to mind the might and majesty of your Lord, He Who heareth and seeth all, and say "Dominion is God's, the Lord of the seen and the unseen, the Lord of creation".

- Baha'u'llah
Let us add in our toolkit this concise yet impactful supplication from the One to Whom the world has inflicted the worst of all afflictions:
If thou desirest to be freed from affliction, recite thou this prayer which hath been revealed by the Pen of the All-Merciful: “O God, my God! I testify to Thy unity and to Thy oneness. I beseech Thee, O Thou Possessor of names and Fashioner of the heavens, by the pervasive influence of Thine exalted Word and the potency of Thy supreme Pen, to aid me with the ensigns of Thy power and might, and to protect me from the mischief of Thine enemies who have violated Thy Covenant and Thy Testament. Thou art, verily, the Almighty, the Most Powerful.” This invocation is an impregnable stronghold and an indomitable army. It conferreth protection and ensureth deliverance.

- Abdu'l-Baha
Equipped with these weapons, let us have faith in the Almighty's might, courageously express our beliefs, and, when necessary, stand against the powers of heaven and earth, emulating the fervor and sacrifice of the early believers who feared nothing but GodHaven't the faithful been assured complete protection "from the mischief of the aggressor and the armies of tyranny" provided their actions align with God's Will? Has He not proclaimed: "And if he feareth not God, God will make him to fear all things; whereas all things fear him who feareth God."

Else said: "Armed with the power of Thy name nothing can ever hurt me, and with Thy love in my heart all the world’s afflictions can in no wise alarm me."

Therefore,
keep the following in mind at all times:
Whosoever ariseth to aid our Cause God will render him victorious over ten times ten thousand souls, and, should he wax in his love for Me, him will We Cause to triumph over all that is in heaven and all that is on earth.

Be wonderfully blessed !
