worldviews into one coherent and peaceful global order is a challenge of
such immense complexity that it far exceeds human wisdom and political
skill. It demands the omnipotent hand of God and the transforming power
of a new divine Revelation — what the Holy Writings describes as the
descent of a “New Jerusalem” from heaven, bringing a heavenly Law
capable of resuscitating humanity.
Born in the heart of 19th-century Persia through the voice of Baha'u'llah, the Baha'i faith gently builds upon the eternal spiritual truths brought by the Messengers of the past, while offering a new and vital divine guidance perfectly suited to the turbulent challenges of our time. It is not a political program, but a living spiritual call that invites all humanity to awaken to moral renewal, to embrace justice, and to recognize the fundamental oneness of the human family.

Baha'u'llah warned the world’s leaders:
The Baha'i vision steers carefully between a single overpowering world government and narrow nationalism. It proposes a balanced world federation in which sovereign nations voluntarily cooperate on pressing transnational issues — such as cyberattacks, data collection by states, technological ethics, ideological extremism, human trafficking, and mass immigration — while fully preserving the autonomy of nations and their cultural, political, and spiritual identity. This model rests on genuine consultation instead of power struggles, ethical limits on central authority, and full respect for the autonomy and diversity of every nation. The Guardian of the Baha'i faith, Shoghi Effendi, described the resulting world order with precision:
Religion is, verily, the chief instrument for the establishment of order in the world… The weakening of the pillars of religion… cannot but lead in the end to chaos and confusion.*
If administrators of the law would take into consideration the spirituel consequences of their decisions, and follow the guidance of religion, "They would be Divine agents in the world of action, the representatives of God for those who are on earth, and they would defend, for the love of God, the interests of His servants as they would their own." Adding to it: Know of a truth that your subjects are God’s trust amongst you. Watch ye, therefore, over them as ye watch over your own selves. Beware that ye allow not wolves to become the shepherds of the fold, or pride and conceit to deter you from turning unto the poor and the desolate.In an age when trust in international institutions is crumbling like ancient towers in the wind, what follows emerges as a refreshing and balanced light.

This divine Order is not merely a political arrangement, but the outer expression of an inner spiritual reality — the recognition of the oneness of humanity and the acknowledgment of Baha'u'llah as the Manifestation of God for this age, the logical and inevitable outcome of humanity's spirituel evolution, guided by the hand of God.
In this great enterprise, the AMERICAN NATION has been given a unique and providential role by the Baha'i teachings — not as a dominator, but as a champion of justice, unity and liberty — to help lay the foundations of this new World Order.
If the journey is long and the challenges are great, the promise is sure. When enough hearts turn towards THIS CALL, the turmoil of our time will give way to the dawn of a new civilization, a truly united, just and peaceful world.
